Raffles Strengthens Education Connections in Vientiane, Laos

Vientiane, Laos, September 3 and 5 – Raffles International College expanded its educational connections in Laos through school visits and participation in the iGEM Study and Migration Expo hosted by iGEM Imagine Global Edu and Migration. The goal was to build stronger partnerships with local schools and introduce students and families to international learning opportunities in Design and Business that Raffles offers.

On 3 September, members of the Raffles management team, Mr. Kierin and Mr. Chanintorn, visited four schools in Vientiane: Virathavone School, Magic Palms International School, Heathfield International School, and Sikham Phatthana School. At Virathavone and Heathfield, the Raffles team had the opportunity to meet with school management, exchange ideas, and strengthen relationships. At Magic Palms and Sikham Phatthana, the team engaged directly with students, sharing information about Raffles’ programmes, the learning environment, and future career pathways available at Raffles International College.

On 5 September, Raffles participated in the iGEM Study and Migration Expo at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Vientiane. The event brought together students and families interested in international education. At the Raffles booth, visitors explored programmes in Design and Business, learned about student life and academic pathways, and received guidance from the Raffles team on choosing study options that matched their interests and career goals.

Over the two days, the activities created a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. Raffles International College was pleased to connect with students, educators, and families in Vientiane, and looks forward to continuing to build meaningful educational partnerships in Laos while creating more opportunities for students to pursue international education.
