Field Trip to Koru Cooking

Interior Design Students’ Field Trip to Koru Cooking Studio

Bangkok, August 10 – Interior Design students from Raffles International College joined a special field trip to Koru Cooking Studio. As part of the Restaurant and Hospitality Design course, this trip was an opportunity for the students to learn directly from experienced chef and designer Mr. Bradley Chuensomsong. It was a unique learning opportunity that combined education with enjoyment.

During the visit, students joined a guided tour of the restaurant coupled with a discussion session, where the chef shared insights on design attitudes and how restaurants are shaped to create the right atmosphere. Students also enjoyed a team dinner together, with the chef sharing his vast experience during the meal, making the evening even more inspiring.

To make the trip more exclusive, students had a guided tour of the staff’s quarters next to the restaurant, where they experienced interior design in a personal setting. This showed how design can connect with lifestyle and creativity, making the day truly memorable. The trip also gave students valuable hands-on experience to guide their future design paths.

The trip was both fun and meaningful. Interior Design students gained new ideas, shared experiences, and felt motivated to bring fresh inspiration into their work. More exclusive field trips like this will continue to help them grow as designers and prepare for real-world challenges.
