Exploring the Five Senses: FMM Educational Field Trip to ADIDAS ORIGINALS SONG WAT

Bangkok, August 5 – Students from the Fashion Marketing and Management program at Raffles International College visited ADIDAS ORIGINALS SONG WAT. Led by Ms. Chanida Kanmuang, their lecturer, they explored how the five senses—sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste—are used in sensorial marketing.

During the visit, students observed how different environments use visuals, sounds, scents, textures, and flavors to create customer experiences. They practiced site observation, collected data, and discussed how these elements can influence marketing strategies. This hands-on experience gave them a chance to connect classroom theory with real-world practice.

The trip also encouraged teamwork. Students worked in pairs to take photos, record videos, and share opinions about what they experienced. They learned to analyze sensory elements and consider how to apply them in their final projects. This hands-on activity was a valuable learning opportunity for everyone.
