Interior Design Students Explore New Possibilities with AYDA Awards 2026

RIC Bangkok, August 5 – Raffles International College welcomed the AYDA Team from Nippon Paint Thailand to Raffles grounds for a special presentation. The unique session organized by the AYDA Team solicited Interior Design students to participate in the Asia Young Designer Awards (AYDA) 2026, a grand competition that encourages young designers to showcase their creativity and skills in the art of interior design.

During the presentation, the AYDA Team shared important details about the competition theme, “Converge: Embracing Hyperlocal.” Students acquainted themselves with design requirements, submission guidelines, and the competition timeline. The team also presented examples of inspiring projects and highlighted key design ideas, giving students motivation and a valuable learning opportunity to prepare their own entries.

To make the session more engaging, the AYDA Team organized a short quiz activity. Students who participated had the chance to win small prizes such as tote bags and plush toys. This interactive part of the event encouraged students to join in, test their knowledge, and enjoy the experience together.
