Welcome to Raffles! New Student Orientation Day
RIC Bangkok, July 10 – Raffles International College warmly welcomed its newest students with an Orientation Day designed to help them feel at home as they begin their academic journey. The event gave students the opportunity to meet their lecturers, connect with classmates, and learn more about the supportive community that created an atmosphere that reflected the college’s commitment to care and guidance.
The day began with a warm welcome from the college’s lecturers and staff, who introduced students to campus life and shared what they could expect throughout their studies. Mike Vancoillie, Programme Director of Fashion Marketing & Management, provided an overview of the academic framework and expectations, helping students understand how they can make the most of their time at Raffles. The Student Services and Visa Services teams also shared valuable information, especially for international students, about the support and resources available on campus.
To help everyone get to know each other, students took part in a fun icebreaker game called “Know You Better.” In this exciting activity, students asked each other questions, and the first three to finish received prizes. adding a little friendly competition and plenty of laughter to the day.
