Exploring Ideas! Interior Design Educational Field Trip at Good Goods Flagship Store
Bangkok, May 7 – Interior Design students from Raffles International College had an educational field trip to the Good Goods flagship store at Central World. This learning experience was planned to connect classroom lessons with real places, giving students the chance to explore design ideas and see how creativity develops in professional practice.
During the visit, students looked closely at the store’s design elements and studied how they reflect design and customer needs. They explored materials, layouts, and customer experiences, while also discussing how design ideas are applied in real situations. This hands‑on experience helped them understand how design works in real projects and how design choices meet actual demands.
This exciting activity helped students discover design concepts and prepare insights for their future projects. By connecting classroom knowledge with real site conditions, they strengthened their ability to think clearly and creatively. The trip also gave them valuable exposure to design trends and practical applications, helping them shape ideas that align with professional practice.
The visit to Good Goods was a great success. Students gained confidence in applying design ideas and discovered how creativity can grow when connected to real environments. Experiences like this show that design education is most effective when it combines theory with practice, giving students the opportunity to shape the future of interior design with imagination and purpose.
