Business Students Visit Louis Vuitton Hotel Bangkok

On March 12, 2026, students from Raffles International College’s Business Program visited the Louis Vuitton Hotel Bangkok, which is housed in a renovated historic structure close to Chinatown. Students were able to see how a multinational luxury brand presents itself in a distinctive cultural context thanks to the tour.

Students observed how Louis Vuitton uses design and atmosphere to strengthen its brand image. The hotel was not only a place to stay but also an immersive brand experience. It was an example of how businesses create experiences that connect with customers and add value beyond products.
The trip also showed how international brands adapt to local culture while keeping their global identity. This helped students understand the balance between global strategy and local relevance. This was a valuable example of balancing global strategy with local culture, an important skill for anyone planning to work in international markets.

Exciting activities like this help students connect classroom knowledge with real-world business practices. Raffles promises to bring more learning opportunities and educational field trips like this to inspire creativity and prepare students for their future careers in all aspects.

The Educational Field Trip at Museum Siam

On March 5, 2026, Raffles International College organized an educational field trip for students in the Business Programmes. The destination was Museum Siam, located in the heart of Bangkok. This trip was a wonderful opportunity for students to explore Thai culture and history in a meaningful way.

During the visit, students learned about the rich traditions and stories of Thailand. They discovered how culture and society have developed over time, and how these lessons can be applied to today’s economic environment. For international student communities, this experience was especially valuable, as understanding local culture is an important step for anyone planning to start a business in Thailand.
The museum’s exhibits and resources provided insights into commerce, consumer behavior, cultural branding, and innovation. These themes directly connect to the world of business, providing students with practical knowledge that can inspire new ideas and strategies.

Raffles believes that activities like this help students expand their imagination and apply creativity to their future careers. By connecting classroom learning with hands-on experiences, we aim to empower every student to grow and innovate in meaningful ways.
