Exhibition Design Comes Alive at Raffles
On October 29, Interior Design students at Raffles International College brought their final exhibition design projects to life in a truly extraordinary way. Guided by Mr. Bradley Chuensomsonan, our interior designer, chef, and lecturer, the event became a fascinating project that seamlessly blended design, performance, and storytelling.
Each student group selected an iconic character from movies, animation, or even art toys, and crafted an exhibition inspired by that persona. Their ideas were presented through creative video renderings enriched with compelling storylines. To add an extra spark, students donned costumes matching their chosen themes and transformed the presentation floor to mirror the ambiance of their designs.
Students from other departments joined in as spectators, turning the event into a vibrant, multicultural celebration of imagination and collaboration. What could have been a standard classroom presentation instead became a colorful, immersive exhibition buzzing with energy, innovation, and artistic flair.
Every group impressed with their meticulous attention to detail and seamless teamwork qualities that reflect Raffles’ commitment to hands-on experiences and creative exploration. This project beautifully demonstrated that education at Raffles goes beyond technical mastery; it’s about nurturing creativity, collaboration, and a deep connection between study and the real world of design.
