AI Mindset to AI Opportunity Workshop with Raffles BBA Students

RIC Bangkok, September 24 – Raffles International College BBA students joined a special workshop titled “AI Mindset to AI Opportunity” as part of their GE011 Contemporary Scientific Innovation course. Held at Raffles’ campus, the session gave students a chance to explore how artificial intelligence is shaping today’s world and how it can be applied in both business and everyday life.

The workshop kicked off with a focus on mindset, Students were encouraged to see AI not as a replacement for human ability, but as a tool that can extend creativity and problem‑solving. By shifting perspective, they learned how to work alongside AI instead of fearing it. This approach helped them understand that AI can support their ideas and open new opportunities when used wisely.

Later, the class explored practical AI applications. They discovered how AI can reduce costs in areas such as website development, software creation, and even video production. Students saw examples of how AI tools can generate animations and media content that can be turned into income with lower investment. They also had the chance to experiment with prompts and interact directly with AI systems, making the workshop a true hands‑on experience that was both practical and engaging.

By the end of the workshop, students walked away with fresh ideas and a clearer view of AI’s role in business. They learned to see it not as a replacement, but as a tool to extend ideas and reduce costs in creative and business work.
