Exploring Spaces, Expanding Minds! Educational Field Trip to Architect Expo 2026
Nonthaburi, April 29 – Raffles International College Interior Design students embarked on an amazing day at the Architect Expo 2026, hosted at Impact Challenger Hall. The tour allowed students to go outside of the classroom and observe design in practice, surrounded by unique, innovative ideas, materials, and imaginative displays.
Two groups of Interior Design students joined the visit: Creativity and Concept Development (CACD) and Interior Materials and Finishes (IMAF). CACD students focused on how abstract design concepts are transformed into physical spaces. By sketching, taking photos, and observing installations, they sharpened their ability to analyze spatial ideas and gained fresh inspiration for their own projects.
IMAF students, on the other hand, explored the latest interior materials, finishes, and building technologies. Seeing products up close helped them understand properties, applications, and new trends such as sustainable materials. This hands‑on experience strengthened their skills in evaluating and selecting the right materials for design work.
The field trip blended creativity with practical learning, giving students both inspiration and industry knowledge. It was a lively and rewarding experience that connected theory with reality. Raffles International College is proud to provide learning opportunities like this and looks forward to more exciting journeys for our students.
