Building Confidence Through Personal Branding at Raffles
Imagine a classroom where students don’t just study but actually practice how to present themselves to the world. That’s exactly what happened in our Business Programme at Raffles International College, where our bachelor’s degree students joined a pitching project on Personal Branding for Career Growth.
In this class, students created their own portfolios and pitched them as if they were applying for a role at Raffles International College. The focus was on discovering strengths, facing weaknesses, and learning how to grow. By looking closely at what makes them unique, students learned how to highlight their best qualities while also being honest about areas they need to improve.
Each student explained not only the challenges they faced but also the steps they had already taken to address them. Some shared stories of learning new skills, others spoke about building confidence through practice, and many showed how they turned small weaknesses into opportunities for growth.
Through clear communication and self-awareness, students gained hands-on experience that will empower them in their future careers. They learned that true success is rooted in self-knowledge and the confidence to present their authentic strengths whenever opportunities arise.
On APRIL 9th, Join Songkran Splash Festival at Raffles
Celebrate Thai New Year in style! On 9 April, Raffles International College welcomes you to the Raffles Songkran Splash Festival 2026—a vibrant day filled with water festivities, rich cultural traditions, and engaging activities designed to unite our community.
Here’s what’s waiting for you:
- Student Market & Food Booths: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Registration & Special Giveaway: From 12:00 PM onwards (the first 50 participants will receive a limited-edition waterproof bag)
- Opening Ceremony and Traditional Water Pouring Ceremony: 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM
- Fun Game Booths with prizes: 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM
- Songkran Water Splash Zone: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Dress code: Floral shirts, Thai traditional costumes, or any colorful attire to match the festive vibe.
This isn’t just a celebration, it’s where everyone from different backgrounds can come together for a truly multicultural experience, enjoying food, games, and water fights in true Thai style!
