AYDA Awards 2025 Brings Big Inspiration to Raffles Students!
On 30 July 2025, Raffles International College had the pleasure of welcoming Nippon Paint Thailand, a renowned company, to our campus.
Held in the Raffles Auditorium, the presentation introduced our Interior Design students to the exciting Asia Young Designer Awards (AYDA) 2025.
The AYDA team shared useful information about the student competition, including this year’s theme, submission guidelines, judging criteria, and the opportunity to represent Thailand at the regional AYDA Summit. Students also explored design trends, creativity, and sustainable ideas that are shaping the future of the industry.
The event was full of energy. Students asked questions, took notes, and gained inspiration from real-world opportunities in the design world. To make the session extra fun, they held a quiz at the end of the presentation. The captivating and educational lesson was enhanced by the thrilling rewards given to students who provided the correct answers.
We are thankful to Nippon Paint Thailand and the AYDA team for supporting our young talents. Their visit helped spark new ideas and dreams among our students.
At Raffles, we believe that giving students access to intriguing activities and real-world experiences would help them shine. Events like this prove that our campus is full of chances to grow, learn, and dream big in an exceptional learning environment.
congratulations to “DJ,” Champion of the Thailand Master Ball League!
Raffles International College is proud to celebrate one of our outstanding students, Anousak Jung, known to friends and fans as “DJ”! Recently, DJ triumphed at the Thailand Master Ball League held at ICONSIAM, winning both Singles and Team Champion titles and representing Thailand with pride.
DJ’s talent and dedication truly impressed the audience and judges, showing excellence not only in gameplay but also in sportsmanship and passion. His achievement highlights the diverse skills and character within our international student communities, where students with different skills and interests can grow and shine together.
DJ was also honored with an invitation to compete at an international tournament in the USA this August, a recognition of his world-class abilities. However, due to personal scheduling and timing, he wasn’t able to continue with the event this year.
We are proud to share DJ’s success story, which adds vibrant energy to our campus culture. Moments like this inspire fellow students to believe in their dreams and take on new, exciting opportunities during their journey at Raffles.
Let’s keep cheering for DJ and supporting each other as we grow together.
Interior Design Students Dive into Fine Dining with Mr. Bradley Chuensomsong
Raffles Interior Design students from Studio 4 recently participated in a special learning opportunity—a fine dining outing designed to support their final project, which involved creating a concept for a fine dining restaurant.
Mr. Bradley Chuensomsong, a well-known interior designer and Top 3 finalist from MasterChef Thailand Season 5, took the class through this unique experience. Mr. Bradley helped students observe how ambiance, service, and spatial design combine to create remarkable dining experiences with his special combination of design knowledge and culinary intuition.
Students were able to observe real-world elements like lighting, layout, mood, and menu through this practical experience. Every necessary component is required to create their restaurant designs.
Events like this demonstrate how Raffles International College ties education to real-world experiences. Our students are empowered to build with purpose and creativity through creative learning thanks to motivating mentors like Mr. Bradley and real-world experiences outside of the classroom.
