“Our Voices, Our Pride” Raffles Celebrates Pride Month with You!

Raffles International College invites all students to join our Pride Month celebration at the Creative Corner on the 4th floor from now until June 30, 2025. Let’s fill the room with love, color, and strong voices that reflect who we are!

As part of the event, we’ve set up a Multicultural Wall, a special board where you can share your thoughts in short notes. Use the colorful sticky notes we’ve prepared to write your thoughts on one of the following topics:

“I’m proud of who I am because…”

 “I wish our college would…”

 “To me, Pride means…”

The room will also be adorned with decorations and posters featuring quotes from well-known individuals who support Pride Month. It’s a great way to learn more about the meaning of Pride while also experiencing the positive energy on campus.

We believe that everyone deserves a safe, supportive, and accepting place to blossom. That’s why we’re proud to host events like this to encourage cross-cultural communication, celebrate uniqueness, and support student activities that bring us together.

Don’t miss this meaningful experience! Come write your thoughts, and celebrate student life in a fun and respectful way.

Let’s make this Pride Month full of color, kindness, and connection.

Transform the Interior into a Stage Play!

On June 11, 2025, we had a truly unique experience at Raffles International College. The Interior Design students gave a presentation. But this time, it wasn’t a slideshow, a video, or just 3D models. It was a stage play! They combined interior design and acting to create something truly exciting. It was one of those student-led activities that energized the classroom.

Mr. Bradley Chuensomsong, our interior designer, lecturer, came up with the idea. He asked the students to demonstrate their interior design knowledge in a fun and creative manner. Instead of simply talking, the students performed short scenes with movie dialogue and shared their design ideas through storytelling.
Each student designed their own costume based on interior and artistic influences. They used design elements from all over the world to demonstrate cross-cultural communication via styles, patterns, and even light and shadow. Their outfits were like walking art pieces, allowing them to tell deeper stories and share what they had learned in class. It was an excellent hands-on experience for all involved.

The results were fantastic! It was like watching a movie while learning about interior design. The audience appreciated it, and they could see how skilled and prepared our students were. This was more than simply a presentation. It was a fantastic combination of student ingenuity and design excellence.

We can’t wait to see what they will do next!

FMM Bazaar: A Real Fashion Market Hosted by Raffles Students!

Raffles International College recently hosted the FMM Bazaar, a lively and thrilling fashion fair right on campus! The unique feature is that all of the goods offered at this event were created by our own Fashion Marketing and Management students. This was not merely a class project. It was a legitimate shopping event available to anyone!

The event exhibited seven student brands: Sencia, Beautanical, And1up, Whose, Eszes, Chamzie, and Her. They sold a wide variety of things, including blouses, scarves, stickers, wallets, charms, socks, and more. Each brand also created its own pop-up shop decorations, which made their booths more eye-catching and helped them showcase their items in a professional and attractive manner. It also demonstrated how students may benefit from creative teamwork and real-world experience.
This kind of event provided students with practical experience, allowing them to apply what they had learned in class. It’s one thing to learn marketing and branding in theory, but it’s far better to put that knowledge into practice with actual consumers. Many students sold their things at the exhibition and received positive comments, which was a fantastic learning opportunity for them.

The FMM Bazaar was more than simply a fashion bazaar; it was a showcase of student skill and ingenuity. It invigorated our campus, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.
