Interior Design Students Showcase Interactive Pitching Skills

Recently, Interior Design students at Raffles International College participated in a unique interactive pitching event. Unlike traditional pitching sessions, where each student presented individually, one after the other, this event followed an exhibition-style format. Students set up their booths and presented their projects to lecturers and peers who visited their space.

The event combined two classes: Design Studio, which showcased food, and Design Exhibition, which explored Thai soft power. Their projects included diorama designs, concept-driven spaces, and Thai food or dessert displays that reflected their design ideas. This experience was a great learning opportunity for students.

This dynamic format allowed students to engage with different audiences, practice real-time pitching, and receive instant feedback. It encouraged creativity, confidence, and hands-on experiences while fostering cross-cultural communication among participants.

Events like this highlight the innovation and collaboration at Raffles International College, giving students a platform to showcase their ideas. We look forward to more exciting events in the future.

Psychology Students Visit Bangkok Design Week

On February 14, 2025, Raffles Psychology students visited Bangkok Design Week at TCDC. The exhibitions focused on consumer decision behavior and sustainability, which connected with what students learned in their Consumer Psychology module as part of our effective curriculum at Raffles International College.

Students explored displays that showed how people make buying decisions and how sustainability plays a role in consumer choices. The trip provided a learning opportunity to see these concepts in real-life settings

Mabel, a first-year Psychology student, shared her thoughts: “It was interesting to know how we can apply psychology in the consumption of clothes and how these affect our mind and behavior.”

This field trip was a great opportunity for our students to learn outside the classroom. Seeing real examples of consumer psychology made their studies more engaging and practical.

At Raffles International College, we encourage hands-on experiences to help students gain valuable knowledge. Stay tuned for more exciting activities!
